100 years of craftmanship

Louwman Museum

The Louwman Museum in The Hague houses a unique car collection. It is the oldest of its kind in the world and, according to many, also the most beautiful. The collection was assembled by two generations of the Louwman family in 1934 and now numbers more than 275 antique and classic vehicles.

More than a museum

Besides the extensive car collection, the Louwman Museum offers much more. The special collections of car-related art, miniatures, posters, trophies and even aeroplanes also are worth a visit. There are regular temporary exhibitions and changing exhibitions. Have a drink on the atmospheric Museumplein with its authentic façades or organise an event in one or more of the museum’s special rooms.

"I can talk about prices, but it is very difficult to estimate. What does Elvis Presley's car cost? We're not interested in values at all either. We are telling a story."
